This policy explains what personal data Nexus Copier collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain. If anything is unclear, contact us and we'll explain.

1. Who we are

Nexus Copier ("we", "us") provides a trade-copier product that mirrors trading signals from Telegram channels to MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and cTrader accounts. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at support@nexuscopier.com.

2. What data we collect

  • Account data: the email address tied to your license and purchase, and your license key.
  • Support data: the messages, tickets and any images you send us through the web widget, email (support@nexuscopier.com) or our Telegram support bot.
  • Chat data: the conversations you have with our web chat assistant (see section 3).
  • Product/operational data: technical information the software reports so it can run and be supported — for example connection status and error diagnostics. We do not receive your broker password or the funds in your trading account.
  • Payment data: handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of a purchase and the associated email, but we never see or store your full card details.
  • Basic technical data: such as your IP address, used for security and anti-abuse (e.g. rate-limiting the support endpoints).

3. The web chat assistant

Our website includes an AI-powered chat assistant to answer questions about setup, usage and plans.

  • Conversations are stored so we can review them for quality and follow up if your question is escalated to our team.
  • To generate answers, the content of your messages is processed by a third-party AI provider (DeepSeek) acting as our processor. Please don't share passwords, card numbers or other highly sensitive information in the chat.
  • If the assistant can't resolve your question, the conversation may be turned into a support ticket handled by a human — the same as email or Telegram support.
  • A session identifier is stored in your browser so your conversation can be continued if you reload the page.
You can always use email or our Telegram bot instead of the chat if you prefer not to use the AI assistant.

4. How we use your data

  • To provide, activate and support the product (fulfilling our contract with you).
  • To answer your questions and resolve support requests.
  • To improve the product and our support quality.
  • To keep our services secure and prevent abuse (our legitimate interest).
  • To send you essential service or account emails.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers ("processors") that help us run the product, under appropriate agreements:

  • Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • DeepSeek — AI processing of chat messages to generate replies.
  • Google — where used for site services. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Our hosting/email providers — to run the service and deliver support emails.

We may also disclose data where required by law.

6. How long we keep it

  • Chat conversations: automatically deleted after 90 days.
  • Support tickets: kept while they're relevant to supporting you, then evicted as older records age out.
  • Account and purchase data: kept for as long as you hold a license and as required for legal/accounting purposes.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under the EU/UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email support@nexuscopier.com and we'll respond. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

8. Cookies

We use only what's necessary to make the site and your account work — for example, remembering that you're logged in to the customer portal, and a local session identifier for the chat. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to limit what we collect to what we actually need.
